What was your purpose for representing UB in Santa Cruz, California?

Our purpose was o explore different perspectives of college environment. To study abroad and to learn about Marine Biology.We learned how to connect with people around us in ways we never thought possible. Marine Biology was a hard task to learn about but if it's one thing that UB at UW taught us is that learning is Universal anywhere you go.

What was significant about your trip to Santa Cruz that you would have never learned in Seattle?

Learned to compromise with different people, though we had our differences at times. We all learned to compromise with eachother.We all learned to let life come to you and experience the freedom we have instead of running from this opportunity.

How was it living individually for 4 weeks? Home sick at all?

It was a fun, home sick, exciting feeling for all of us. The more we wanted to explore, the more we felt farther away from home. But occasionally found ourselves out of place because we missed our families. We can never forget our families roots, they travel with us if you think about it.
